Lafayette Bathroom Addition

Transitional Bathroom Remodel

This bathroom was part of a larger home addition project that included a new bedroom and homework station.

This growing Lafayette family came to Gayler with a need to add a new bathroom for their teenager.

Gayler's design team quickly went to work to design a functional and stylish bathroom that would pass the 'teen-approved' test.  The furniture style vanity includes sleek gold-toned hardware with plenty of storage space and a marble countertop.  A large round antique brass mirror and gold-tone sconces complete the vanity area.

The tub walls are a cultured granite grey pearl shower wall slab, which was selected not only for the look but for easy cleaning.  The bathroom floor is finished in a white Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) with grey grout that offers a softer alternative to porcelain or ceramic tile.

Lastly, Gayler painted a dark-colored accent wall in 'Lamp Post' by Kelly Moore, which acts as a bold contrast to the white vanity and floor.

Our client's teen daughter was thrilled with her new bathroom.  Mission accomplished!
