Helping Build a Strong Community
Strengthening the local community we serve is fundamental to the success of our business. It’s what grounds us and makes us feel a part of something greater than ourselves.
For the past 22 years, it has been our great privilege to donate our time and resources to the extraordinary causes that fuel our clients’ dedication and passion. Here are a few of those local charities/organizations:
Taylor Family Foundation
The Taylor Family Foundation’s mission is to preserve the wellness and enhance the quality of life for children in Northern California living with life-threatening and chronic illnesses, developmental disabilities and youth at-risk through unique therapeutic experiences and support. We became involved with the Taylor Family Foundation through our dear friends, Elaine Taylor and her late husband, Barry.
Students Rising Above
The Students Rising Above community is dedicated to impacting the future through the cultivation of extraordinary youth. SRA invests in low-income, first-generation college students who have demonstrated a deep commitment to education and strength of character while overcoming tremendous odds of poverty, homelessness, and neglect. They help each student to realize his or her potential by guiding and supporting them through college graduation, and into the workforce.
Gayler Design Build is proud to support a local organization that helps its graduates break the cycle of poverty within their own families, serve their communities, provide a new generation of employees and leaders from diverse backgrounds, and accelerate positive change.
Wounded Warrior Project
Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families.
Gayler Design Build is proud to honor and empower Wounded Warriors.
Contra Costa County Food Bank
Started in 1975, the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano stores and distributes donated and purchased perishable and nonperishable food items. We distribute food directly to low-income people at community sites and make food available for other nonprofit organizations serving the ill, needy and children.
Gayler Design Build supports the Food Bank, which works to reduce food waste, feed hungry people and raise public awareness of issues related to food and hunger.
St. Jude’s
St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Gayler Design Build is pleased to be able to support the hospital’s mission to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.
